Gail has developed and written successful grant applications for the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Pew Charitable Trusts and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, among others. She has been employed by nonprofits in a management capacity for the past 20 years, including 9 years with a major health care institution and currently as the development director for a small-medium nonprofit. A versatile writer, Gail has authored material for multiple entities, from human service agencies to animal welfare groups, on diverse subjects ranging from health care, drug abuse prevention and treatment, emergency evacuation with animals and workforce development for people with disabilities.
