My passion in my writings is uncovering the truth and accuracy in media and the popular culture that feeds it. I have written two novels regarding the hidden agendas in the establishment of the popular and youth culture we have today, and why Americans and others worldwide spend so much time accepting what is handed them by the media instead of investigating whether the information is true and whether what they see and hear in the media is positive and enlightening. Is the media uplifting or depressing? Does the media seek to liberate the mind or control it? I believe the mainstream ("politically correct") media rarely gets beyond the "official" version of the news and has abrogated its journalistic responsibilities of informing the public as to the truth of things. Conversely, I want to investigate whether alternative medias (such as WorldNetDaily, NewsMax, InfoWars) and other "right-wing" sites are themselves spinning nonsense in the guise of "telling the truth" the "Establishment media" (CNN, etc) "won't or can't" reveal because of their corporate agendas. It is my feeling that the agendas of these non-mainstream organs are also dominated by corporate interests and/or have been infiltrated by corporate interests in order to confuse those who seek the truth that the mainstream media companies are covering up. That is, both mainstream (left wing) and non-mainstream or conservative (right wing) medias, while telling a bit of the truth do in fact cover up much of it, and both are generally at fault.

Because I believe that both forms of media engage somewhat in brainwashing and propaganda methods, it is my passion to expose them and try to set things right.

I myself have reviewed many mainstream and alternative media organs and feel all of them have a hidden agenda that must be dealt with to uncover the truth.

Experience: Editor of our writer group newsletter for two years; author of two novels, "Battle of the Band," and "The Prophesied Band," columnist for local newspaper, and several years experience as a college newspaper journalist and production manager. I also write and edit for "OmegaZine! Popular Culture and Crisis in Crazy Times" (http://www.omegaserv.com/omegazine.html), an ezine critical of the mainstream media and the present US Administration. I also gave a deposition in hearings regarding the illegal activities of Rick "Republic of Texas" Mclaren after the ROT Standoff in 1997 before Texas Attorney General's office (that is a guide as to the book I am writing on that subject). In my spare time I am also a watcher of so called "right-wing" and "patriot" movement organs as well as watchdog of Christian Identity and similar movements. I am a homeschooling mom, a former leftist radical and Vietnam war protester and now a truthseeker neither on the left or right, and, in fact, neither left nor right is completely wrong or right. I stand for truth.
