David Katski

David Katski is a graphic designer with over six years experience in both print and web design. Holding and AS degree in the field of digital graphic design, David has created national and regional ads for clients across the country. He has been an instructor for Rogue Community College, teaching digital imaging, computer illustration and desktop publishing. Currently David is working as a Technical Writer. An artist since he was a child, David is gifted in sketching, painting and writing. David's other passions are rock hounding and sci-fi/fantasy novels. An amateur geologist for over five years, he has studied the geologic history of his home state of Oregon, and has made numerous field trips throughout Oregon and Northern California collecting diverse samples of rocks and minerals. He is presently working on creating a website outlining Oregon's geologic regions and the many wonderful specimens that can be found there. An avid reader since his teen years, David has read a variety of sci-fi and fantasy novels from Asimov to Zelazny. His current favorites are Terry Brooks, C.S. Friedman, Raymond Feist, Tad Williams and the late Robert Jordan. Currently he is working on his own novel, a modern day fantasy entitled: "Rise of the Nephilim." David has previously published a number of articles on the origins of Catholic and Christian holidays, which were published on the Sharefaith website. Latest Articles
