Megge Fitz-Randolph is a poet, teacher, and student of Carl Jung and mythology. Her poems have appeared in various journals including Cimarron Review , Antioch Review and Ploughshares. She has taught courses in college composition, poetry, creative writing and given seminars on myth, the inward journey and the creative process at various colleges and universities in the Midwest.
Recently, Fitz-Randolph has been a student at the Jungian Institute of Chicago and Pacifica Graduate Institute. Her love of myth, fairy tale, and Depth Psychology, particularly as espoused by its founder Carl Jung, have become a basis for self-discovery. Her primary focus has been on the themes of descent and rebirth, particularly in the lives of women. Her rekindled love for her Christian roots also play a part in this theme of descent and awakening. Her articles attempt to address this rich mix of themes.
