Dick Edelstein

Dick Edelstein, US born, Irish national, resident mainly in Barcelona, is retired from careers in industrial work, teaching and training, journalism, and writing. His articles have appeared in El País in Spain and Computerscope in Ireland, and he has been a regular contributor to Ciencia y Tecnología, the weekly science supplement of the Barcelona daily La Vanguardia. He has been a certified ski instructor and still maintains a keen interest in wines and cycling in Europe, and sometimes writes about these interests as well as about jazz, cuisine, travel and education. He has published 15 books, translated a few others, contributed to a number of publishing projects in print and multimedia, and once inteviewed a fairly young Bill Gates.
