Devorah Macdonald

Devorah Macdonald has worked in broadcasting as a radio personality in Fresno, Califormia; Seattle, Washington; and Vancouver, British Columbia. She co-hosted Canada's first music-video program 'Nitevision' on the Superchannel network alongside legendary radio-jock JB Shayne, interviewing a host of musicians including Laurie Anderson, Long John Baldry, and many other groups and performers promoting videos and up-coming tours on the eclectic half-hour show.

She started her writing career providing content for film festivals and continues to review and write for the Seattle International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, and Cine/file magazine. Her work can be found in the journal of Film studies,Scope, and other work involves researching and writing treatments for documentaries on famous Canadians.

As well as writing reviews and profiles on celebrity, television, film, and art - Devorah co-hosts a new vlog "It's All About Art," for the Elliott Louis Art Gallery in Vancouver.
