Denise is a full time freelancer and stay at home mom with two boys, ages 2 and 10. She is a stringer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and has been published in several magazines, including Boys' Life and Missouri Life. She also writes for Examiner.com as the St. Louis Motherhood Examiner.

Denise spends her time writing, reading, taking photos, taking the boys to the park, and prepping activities for her Cub Scouts. She likes to bike ride and hike with her family on the weekends. When it's rainy (or dark) she encourages family reading time. Her family has read many books together, from Harry Potter to Jaws.
