Deanna Lynn Sletten

Deanna Lynn Sletten has been a freelance writer for regional magazines, newspapers and the Internet for almost 20 years. She specializes in the subjects of weight loss, fitness, health, women's health, parenting, family issues, education and finance. She enjoys researching new subjects and exploring new topics. Deanna has also published two novels, one women's fiction novel and a young-adult adventure novel.

Deanna studied Accounting and Business Management in school and has worked in various fields including retail, management, a bookkeeper, as a financial manager and the director of a senior citizen center. She published a quarterly national newsletter for stay-at-home mothers and a parenting resource newsletter for several years. Currently, Deanna is working full-time as a freelance writer and managing her blog for moms who write.

Deanna lives in northern Minnesota with her family and spends her free time walking park trails with her beautiful Australian Shepherd.
