I live in MN and do not surf or collect Hello Kitty paraphernalia. I instead play ice hockey, write articles for my blog, read tons of books, collect film scores and make videos.

I've been deeply interested in screenwriting and filmmaking since 2003. Using consumer equipment and software, I wrote, directed and edited four low-budget feature-length movies using my friends and family member for actors. In addition, I've made many short videos on varying subjects. The level of quality of videos varies widely, but all of them suffer from low budget: professional equipment and props and so on are hard to get simply because they cost a lot of money. So I began focusing on the one thing I could improve for free: the quality of my scripts. And so my interest in writing developed! Now my love of writing has nearly surpassed that of filmmaking, although I'm still avidly pursuing work in the film industry.
