David is currently studying for his BA in Theatre Arts with a Performance Emphasis. He attends San Diego State University and has been performing in various forms since he was five. He began as a dancer at Dance Dimensions, later the Academy of Dance Arts, where he competed throughout the years and even placed as a finalist at Showstoppers, a national dance competition whose western division is held yearly at the Disneyland Resort. He also taught tap (his specialty) from the time he was twelve, until his departure from dance at eighteen.

His interests turned to acting rather late, in eighth grade, when he starred as Ebenezer Scrooge in the class's production of A Christmas Carol, which he also directed. In high school, he received a diverse education of all aspects of theatre, from directing to designing, to construction to marketing, in addition to performing. Of the 15 productions put together in the four years he attended the University of San Diego High School, he appeared in 8, starring in 6, he produced 6 of them, directed 5, and wrote 2. He graduated as an Outstanding Performer and won the "Lifetime" Achievement Award.

He returned several more times to his alma mater to guest direct as well as choreograph two more productions and was consulted professionally when other original writers brought forth their works to be produced.

At SDSU, David has enjoyed touring most of all, with two shows that have gone to elementary schools and middle and even high schools around the county. The first time he starred in the title role of the Musical Adventures with the Boy Mozart and then as various characters in the Scottish Play, Macbeth. He has also appeared on the mainstage several times, namely at the Theatre of the World Festival, and will be appearing this spring in Bertolt Brecht's The Good Person of Szechwan. David has also won an Outstanding Performer Award for his Mozart role as well as part of the award Outstanding Ensemble twice.

David was also a founding member of the I Eta Pi Improv Team and won Outstanding Player as well as Most Creative. He has variously coached and advised the team since. David is currently a proud founding member of the National Comedy Theatre's College Team (which will be two years old in May) where he performs weekly and also works as a box office manager, concessions manager, and sound and light operator on the weekends for the professional NCT shows (which will be ten years old in October).

David loves writing and has been doing so since middle school, mostly plays, and will be having a staged reading of his original work sometime in the coming months.

David has a very proud and supportive girlfriend, Joan, who is also a scholar herself, graduating from SDSU in three years and starting her MA degree in theatre studies. Many upcoming articles are inspired by her and her many contributions to theatre and its relation to the world.
