<p>Hi. I'm a university student about to graduate from the University of Prince Edward Island with a BA in English. Along the way, I've done some writing here and there, from articles in my local paper to many reviews of classic and foreign films in our university paper. Now I have my own website http://www.angelfire.com/movies/davidsmovies/ where the whole world gets to see my rants on movies. My web designing skills won`t give me a job at Microsoft, or any other computer giant, but hopefully the reviews themselves will be somewhat entertaining!</p> <p>Besides surviving university and maintaining my website, I have been trying to write short stories as well. Ever since high school, I`ve been writing poetry and stories, which usually only get to be seen by myself. As well, I am a huge fan of the feline species, having a rather busy cat of my own in the house.</p> <p>As editor of this section, I hope to be able to make people aware of the history of cinema's past. There are many great films from long ago, and they all can be considered classic as they represent periods which today is only a pale shadow. The films of today are even less about art and more about profit, and the youth market, and this section will hopefully shed some light on more creative times.</p>
