Dave is a prolific writer, having penned blogs, hundreds of articles for at least four different companies and several screenplays.
He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Liberal studies on a Writing minor and Communications and Art concentrations. Most of his credits had been earned at the Florida State University Film School, which he left before graduating, with only a Film Law class and a thesis film to go.
Dave started in the film and television industry as a crew member, performing the duties of Grip, Production Assistant, Sound Recordist and others. He left the industry for a decade first as a computer/internet professional and then as a business owner.
He returned to the industry as an actor and in two years, performed lead roles in a TV pilot, an independent low budget film, and a short film. He worked as a background and featured actor on well over 50 Hollywood productions, but was not allowed to speak any lines due to being a non-union actor. These included the films Iron Man and The Holiday, and such television favorites as Desperate Housewives, The Gilmore Girls, Ghost Whisperer and The Closer, among many others.
In addition to his writing, Dave is currently a site administrator for scifistudiosonline.com and IQ-145.com, and somehow has time to be the president of Syzygy Studios, which is currently developing half a dozen concepts for television or theatrical release.
On the side, Dave is also a soccer coach for his younger daughter's soccer team and a member of his local Soccer Association Board of Directors.
