If I had to describe myself in one word, it would easily be: curious. So as a natural extension of my curiosity, reading is my life's passion. And, reading of course, is naturally linked to writing, so that's how I landed here!

If I had to choose a dream job, I would be a lifelong student. As far as my education goes, I have an AAS Degree in Business and I am currently pursuing my BA in English/Creative Writing. In the real world, I work full-time as an editorial assistant for a scientific publication and I freelance on a part-time basis.

I write about a wide variety of topics, mostly those relating to book reviews, literary culture, freelance writing, pets, popular culture and weddings.

In addition to writing for Suite101, I also blog about the exciting, challenging, sometimes frustrating, though always interesting world of freelance writing from a beginner's perspective.
