I was a science major in college and later a career member of the Institute of Food Technologists. I worked in the processed food and beverage industries for years as a buyer, technical ingredient sales rep and agricultural commodity trader, and I ran a commercial bakery. I was a financial adviser for a large insurance company, and I worked as a business process analyst and researcher for a software development firm. I was a Peace Corps high school science and math teacher in Malaysian Borneo. Over the years I've written ad copy and collateral pieces, mountains of researched business white papers, and corporate training films and sundry educational materials. My loves are my wife, our four kids, and two grandsons. Hobbies include our dog, three parakeets, four cats, playing piano, fishing and duffer golfing. I've been a hobby woodworker for over 25 years and I professionally restored furniture. I am a business owner with TriVita, a health and wellness company. |
