Claire Vath

Contributor

When she was 7 years old, Claire Vath was writing a story and fell out of her chair, accidentally poking a pencil in her eye. You might say that writing became ingrained in her.

She is an editor, writer and occasional photographer for a national farming magazine. Starting out as a copy editor, her first love is correcting grammar and reading her AP Stylebook (seriously). She’s also been a food editor and food photo stylist, and loves food-related books, experimenting with recipes, making her own red wine and roasting her own coffee beans.

In the evenings and on weekends, she fills her time by writing book reviews for Armchair Interviews, working on a public relations campaign for a local pet food company and doing other intermittent projects.

In 2007, she helped research and contributed to “Other People’s Love Letters: 150 Letters You Were Never Meant to See.”

Her photography has appeared in publications including “Florida Dog” magazine and the “International SportsMed Journal,” and her writing, press releases, copy editing work and photography have appeared in several national publications.
