I cut my teeth on horror movies thanks to a progressive mother who was a die-hard fan of the genre. My earliest and fondest memories are of my mother and me snuggled in a blanket scared out of our wits watching some chainsaw-wielding, spell-casting, eat-you-alive character.

From that grew a genuine love for horror movies, anything from the subtle terror of Rosemary's Baby and The Others to blood fests such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Saw.

Even though I have a business degree and other certifications, it was inevitable I would become a writer, in particular, a screenwriter.

Along with being a published writer, I am the founder of a literary consulting service.
