Maya Tyler

In 2004, after Maya Tyler graduated from college, she pursued the career of her degree in computers. As a hobby she began keeping a blog and discovered a passion for writing - she hasnt stopped since. Delighted that she has finally found her calling, she is a successful a part-time freelance writer.

Publishing credits include work for W.H.Y Magazine, a publication providing information and advice for individuals who work from home. Maya has a blog called Diary of A Post-It Queen.... where she documents her road to becoming a full time writer.She hopes to provide motivation and inspriration for working moms to also go after their dreams. Her writing interests include Careers, Parenting, Heath/ Beauty, and Society subjects.

Maya recieved her B.S. in Information Technology at Virginia State University. She works full-time as a Software Analyst in Washington, DC., and is married with 2 small boys.

Fun Fact: Maya is a member of the Virginia State University "Woo-Woo's"! The name sounds strange, but the ladies of this cheerleading organization have been well known and respected among the HBCU and CIAA communities for almost 40 years. Go Trojans!
