Carmen Sofia Grant

Carmen Grant is a professional freelance writer, mother of two toddler boys, and proud military wife. She attended the University of California, Davis and received a BA in International Relations and Political Science. She has worked for environmental and political non profit organizations in Sacramento, CA and Washington D.C. She has written reports on essential fish habitat, deforestation, lead poisoning, and various other topics including politics and socio-cultural issues in Latin America and Southern Europe.

Her professional interests are Latin American history, literature and politics, and writing fiction. Her personal interests include the idea of returning to her pre-children outdoor activities like running and sea kayaking, and reading books on raising toddlers without going insane.
