Carmen Sofia Grant

Bio

Carmen Grant is a freelance writer, mother of two toddler boys, and proud military wife. She attended the University of California, Davis and received a BA in International Relations and Political Science and holds a certificate in International Relations and Business from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain. In addition to a natural love of foreign affairs, she is an Accredited Financial Counselor and volunteers her time at the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society, helping sailors and marines in need. She is currently working on a MA in Web Design which will be completed in 2011.

Carmen is a leading contributor to GirlPundit, a conservative political online magazine. She has also contributed extensively to Smartgirlnation. Her latest project is collaborating with some brilliant minds to build a conservative organization that will bridge the gap between young and old conservatives. Personal Interests and Fun

Carmen enjoys learning about Europeans and Latin American history, reading, and writing fiction. She caters often to the idea of returning to her pre-children outdoor activities like running, sea kayaking.
