<p>Since this profile is all about me, I will begin with a physical definition of who I am. My name is Martha Checkett. I live alone in Beaverton, Oregon with my three pets, Crystal, a white, female Havanese,and sibling tabby cats, Mary and Bob.</p> <p>I have 3 grown children and one grandchild. My husband died two years ago from a gbm brain tumor.</p> <p>For 16 years, I taught young children in Preschool. Now, I have decided it is time to make a change and try something new.</p> <p>Some of my major interests are sewing (dolls and stuffed animals), travel, and writing). I grew up in Texas and have lived in Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, California, and now my favorite, Oregon.</p> <p>The climate is mild and there is easy access to both the mountains and the ocean. The beach is my favorite and one day when I decide to move again, it may be to the Oregon Coast.</p> <p>In the past few years, I have discovered and made great use of the internet by way of Webtv which I can access from my recliner, with my keyboard in my lap. I spend a good deal of my spare time surfing and reading newsgroups. I am ready for some new adventures and exciting challenges as I launch into a new chapter of my life.</p>
