As an aviation enthusiast for the past thirteen years, I'm interested in airports, airlines, and all the other components related to commercial flight. I received my master's in "global political economy" from the University of Pittsburgh, where my research focused on--what else--aviation.
When I'm not watching planes fly overhead, I enjoy delving into other topics including health and psychology. I play the piano. I've walked a marathon. I like to ski and cook (but not at the same time).
I've freelanced for The Erickson Tribune, Employment Times, and Pitt Magazine. I also enjoy writing fiction and I'm in the process of trying to get my first novel published.
