I am fortunate to have been a writer, story analyst, teacher and editor for twenty years. I’ve read screenplays and manuscripts for many production companies, including John Wells Productions and Village Roadshow Pictures, and for several talent and literary agencies, including William Morris and International Creative Management, where I served as executive story analyst for the head of the motion picture talent department. I’ve been a personal script reader for several A-list actors and directors, and continue to work as a story analyst for professionals in the film industry, as well as for writers of all levels, from all over the world. I have also taught screenwriting and creative writing at several colleges and universities, including Metropolitan College of Denver, Community College of Denver, National University, Antioch University, and for the Los Angeles Unified School District. I’ve written several original screenplays and many scripts for hire. My scripts have been in development with production companies at Fox and Disney as well as independent producers. My original screenplay THE DAY SHE DROVE ME is currently under option, and I’ve recently completed a memoir, WALKING AWAY, about taking care of my mother during her end stage liver disease. I’ve published poetry in magazines and literary journals and written feature articles for lifestyle magazines such as Elevated Living and DiningOut. I hold a BFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University and an MFA in Creative Writing (Nonfiction) from Antioch University Los Angeles. You can learn more about me on my website. |
