Cynthia Keenan

Cynthia J. Keenan has worked as a registered nurse, elder law attorney, medical consultant and legal marketing professional. Currently, she is a long term care consultant to a financial planner in Long Island, NY. The common thread in all of what she has done is her writing, which she parlayed into a freelanced writing career. She has written chapters in textbooks on total hip replacement, ethical issues for nurses, and a medical-legal column for a major medical website. On the legal side, she has researched and written plaintiff profiles based on extensive review of medical records pertaining to product liability medical malpractice cases. As legal marketing professional, she wrote releases, website text and practice descriptions. She has degrees in nursing, journalism and law, and has taken several courses and workshops on fiction writing.
