Chris A. Carberry - Profile

My name is Chris Carberry. I graduated with honors from college and am a member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. I have a poem published in the International Library of Poetry through www.poetry.com. I've also been published in a number of ezines and have an article due out in September's issue of Southern Living Magazine.

I'm an avid reader and writer. I've studied english, literature, history, psychology/sociology, substance abuse counseling and suicide. I'm also a suicide survivor ~ for those of you who don't know, that means I've survived the suicide of a loved one (in my case 2 loved ones).

I have many other interests. I'm into current events, economics, human interest stories, and some sports (nascar, Tiger Woods, a little basketball, baseball and football). And though I love all things southern (I'm a Virginian) I was born and raised in the Heartland (Iowa).
