My name is Megan Drummond. I have lived with a disability for 25 years. I suffered a brain stem stroke on Friday the 13th in July of 1984 at the age of 7. I am classified as a hemiplegic, with right-sided paralysis and left-sided weakness.
I graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in December 1998 with a degree in English/Writing. I worked at a non-profit organization that provided therapeutic and recreational opportunities to children with disabilities for two years and then began writing for the web.
I published my first book in 2001 and am currently working on my second.
I am a newlywed and live with my husband, a culinary student, in northwest Pennsylvania.
