Contradiction is a theme inherent in human life that has always fascinated me. Take, for example, the fact that I am a self-confessed lover of words, yet I often find it difficult to express the simplest thoughts with succinct phrases. Yes, I am a self-confessed rambler, and more than that, a dreamer.
On to more mundane side of things, I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from University of Queensland. Last year, I interned at theSun, a Malaysian daily newspaper, where I learnt to my dismay that having a way with words was only the tip of the journalism iceberg - but it has also equipped me with invaluable insights into the art of mass media writing.
In addition, I have had work published in two other Malaysian newspapers, The Star and New Straits Times; an entertainment magazine called Lime and an educational magazine, EduSmith. I am passionate about story-writing, I post some of my work on FictionPress; and I am also in the midst of honing my poetry-writing skills.
Combined with the fact that I am naturally a nosy parker who views people-watching as a technique, basically I have stories gushing out of every pore...
