Chantel Simmons is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Elevate magazine, Canada's leading anti-aging, cosmetic enhancement and wellness magazine. She has worked as the assistant beauty editor of ELLE Canada and the assistant editor of TV Guide. Her work has appeared in FASHION, MoneySense, Reader's Digest, Faze, Yu, Salon, Beautynet.com, HGTV.ca, Foodtv.ca, WNetwork.com, Kaboose.com and eHarlequin.com.

In 2007 her debut novel, Stuck in Downward Dog, was released and became a Winnipeg Free Press bestseller and was featured as a Chatelaine Best Beach Book and a Vancouver Sun Editor's Choice.

She has a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University.
