Deb Powers is a published poet and author who draws on her extensive life experience and research expertise to write on a wide variety of subjects. Since 2001, her work as a professional web content writer has appeared on hundreds of websites. She is a key member of Article Authors, a professional content production company, and writes regularly for Demand Media and eHow,com.

Deb has been writing poetry for most of her adult life. She competed in the National Poetry Slam with the Worcester, MA Poetry Slam team in 1994 and has published two chapbooks of poetry, Pencil Sketches and Women of Color. She helped manage the online poetry community at GotPoetry for two years and regularly wrote the poetry column, Girls Want Porn Too. Her work has appeared in the Ballard Street Poetry Journal, The November 3rd Club, the GotPoetry Offline Poetry Anthology and The Astrophysicist's Tango Partner Speaks.

Deb learned to read Tarot from her grandmother, and has been reading and studying the Tarot since 1972. Over the years, she has read as a professional Tarot consultant and taught the philosophy of Tarot both formally and informally. She approaches the Tarot as a practical tool that offers personal insight and guidance. She is currently developing Everyday Tarot, a blog about using the Tarot as a practical tool for spiritual and personal discovery.
