Chris Williams

My name's Chris Williams. I'm a writer out of the Detroit area and I currently work full-time as a reporter for a community newspaper in Macomb County, Michigan. I've lived in Michigan my entire life and so that Midwestern culture definitely finds its way into my writing.

Much of my writing centers around film. I serve as the film critic at the newspaper I work for and I am a charter member of the Detroit Film Critics' Society. Much of my writing here, I hope, will be a way to further flesh out views on film, television and other items of popular culture. I also hope to be able to write articles profiling people and situations that may otherwise not be able to be explored at the paper.
