I began baking at the age of ten and my passion has only grown from there. I love the "magic" of baking, how one must be so technical and attentive to chemistry while being able to be incredibly creative at the same time! I love both savory and sweet baked goods, but my sweet tooth usually get the best of me!

About a year ago, I discovered the world of food-blogging. Oh my my! I began with small blog and am now a part of many on-line baking groups including The Daring Bakers, Tuesdays with Dorie, and The Blake Bakers. I've also become very interested in food photography and have opened up shop. Needless to say, my blog, Carrie's Kitchen Creations isn't so small anymore!

My husband and I live in the heart of wine country, the Finger Lakes, NY. Living here offers endless culinary adventures as well as endless opportunities to learn about wine and it's relation to food. Recently I've become very interested in Organic and Biodynamic wines.
