Living on the rugged and spectacular Pacific West Coast of Canada, the elements of eco-friendly and simple living now comes quite naturally to me - but that wasn't always the case. Surrounded by so much spectacular beauty and an inherent willingness to be at one with my surroundings led me from an Ontario city girl who drove often and rarely recycled... to a Vancouver Islander who looks forward to sunshine and embraces the rain.
I have a passion for interior design and an evolving interest in the areas of natural health, fitness, diet, nutrition, and yoga - and how all of these life tools work toward achieving a simpler life that is rich, wonderful and earth friendly. In the past 10 years, I have published more than 40 feature articles in home, garden and lifestyle magazines in the US, Canada and the UK.
When I am not enjoying my work as the Feature Writer for the Green and Simple Living topic at Suite101.com, I work as a business writer and marketing consultant. You may have noticed that my list of article topics is somewhat diverse and I like it that way! Every now and again, I write articles that draw upon my MBA in Global Marketing and 20+ years experience in business writing and marketing management.
