Driven by producing results, Scott Walker is an accomplished marketing professional. Returning to the private sector after several years of public service, Walker joined Due North Marketing Communications, Inc. where he is now Vice President.
Previously, he was one of five top administrators appointed to the Michigan Department of Community Health, the largest department of state government. There, he directed a $10 million annual health promotions program.
Earlier in his career, Walker was a TV and radio news director, anchor, reporter, editor and producer. He also instructed at the university level as an adjunct professor in journalism and marketing communications.
Walker is co-owner of a small vineyard that produces premium chardonnay and pinot noir wine grapes.
In his leisure time, Walker enjoys wine appreciation, cooking, gardening, hunting, fishing, music and reading.
