I became interested in bonsai after visiting The National Bonsai and Penjing Museum, US National Arboretum, some fifteen years ago. Although I have only within the past seven years thrown myself into the vocation/pastime of bonsai, this art has long been a fascinating topic with me.

While living in the Midwest I met and struck up a working relationship with one of the truly great bonsai artists, Peter Adams of the UK. Mr. Adams is a fabulous artist, and many of his trees now sit in the British National Bonsai Collection, as well as in the gardens of many wealthy collectors abroad. I highly recommend his writings on the subject of bonsai.

My education and formal training otherwise is in theater and performing arts. I am a member of the Actor's Equity Association, the Screen Actor's Guild, and the American Federation of Television and Radio Announcers unions. When not concentrating on bonsai I work as an actor, freelance landscape designer, and devoté of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, a Koryu (Old School) system of martial arts and philosophy. In 1996 & 1997 I was honored to assist in providing personal protection for His Holiness, Tenzin Gyatso, The Dalai Lama of Tibet during his tours of the United States.

Let's do bonsai! :o)
