Born in Hong Kong and raised in Toronto, Diana grew up on home-cooked Chinese food, as well as a diverse range of authentic cuisines that the city offers. This foodie's curiosity in cooking comes from her father, her first cooking instructor, who taught her how to scramble eggs when she was seven years old, and has since taught her how to braise abalone and roast the perfect duck.
After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Diana eventually decided to undergo culinary training, and pursue her passion for a career with food. She has written articles for Wish magazine, Readersdigest.ca, and Canadianliving.com. In addition to her freelance writing and recipe testing, Diana coordinates and teaches various programs at Loblaws. When she's not cooking, eating, or drinking, she's thinking about it.
