Doug Brown

Now based firmly in Canada, Doug Brown has spent a considerable portion of his life away from home. A trip to Southeast Asia during his undergraduate university years created a desire to see that part of the world. He learned some Chinese and managed to get a job in Hong Kong where he and his wife raised four boys over the course of 16 years both there and in Bangkok. His job took him extensively through Asia and Europe, while family vacations filled in what wasn't originally seen from the airplane and meeting room.

Doug will write about a variety of topics that interest him, from business, travel and culture in Asia and Europe, to various topics that on which he enjoys researching and pontificating.
