Brett McKenzie

Brett Ashley McKenzie is a regular contributing writer for The Huffington Post, covering politics, business, style, and Chicago. She has also published articles on travel with National Geographic Traveler, and recently completed a project for National Geographic's forthcoming "Personal Explorer," writing six full-length tours of the city of Chicago, including reviews of restaurants, shops, tourist attractions, and accommodations citywide.

Brett graduated with honors from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is honored to have received one Suite101 "Editor's Choice" award for her story "Saving Parking Spaces in Winter: Is Holding a Shoveled-Out Spot a Do or a Don't?"
