Brandi Rhoades is a freelance writer working on articles for the web, ranging from blog posts to marketing letters to keyword-driven content. Armed with the knowledge she gained as a newspaper reporter in Cincinnati, Brandi left in June 2004 to become a freelance writer. Brandi writes on business-related issues, including careers and family finance, as well as gender issues. Sometimes the two niches intertwine such as in her booklet "101 Careers in Gender Studies." Published in November 2006, this booklet covers options for Gender Studies majors and is available in various universities throughout the United States. In addition, Brandi is the Women's Issues editor for BellaOnline.com, the Internet's second-largest community for women. Her work has appeared in business and college magazines and on websites such as WritersWeekly.com. Brandi has a bachelor's degree from Mercer University (Macon, Georgia) with a triple major in history, women's studies, and sociology. She is currently working on a Master of Business Administration degree and should be done by May 2009. Brandi lives and works in Frankfort, Kentucky, capital of the Bluegrass, with her husband, Brian, and their two children, Jayden (2) and Katherine (1). When Brandi's not writing, advocating, or mothering, she's usually working on brain teasers - Sudoku, Mancala, and the like – or attending a festival or museum with her family. |
