<p>I am a child of the 80s. My favorite movies and music come from that decade, and I'm not ashamed to say it. I had the big mall hair, every other word out of my mouth was "like," and I was utterly devoted to the trends of the times. Now, as a married mother of a two year old boy, I don't look or act the part anymore, but my heart is still tied to those 10 years of my life. If it came from the 80s, chances are I can sing it, quote from it, or know something about it!</p> <p>I've always been a voracious reader and journal/short story writer, and more recently, I've added scrapbooking to my list of hobbies. I'm always on the lookout for more outlets for my creative energy.</p>
