Caitlin Ward is a freelance writer and journalist based in Saskatoon, SK, Canada. She writes regularly for several publications, including planet S magazine, the Prairie Messenger, and the StarPhoenix. In the five years she has worked as a journalist, she has interviewed and written on everyone from high profile Canadian musicians (Joel Plaskett, Shaun Verreault) to reproductive veterinary biologists. She is also a "writer for hire," doing web copy and promotional materials for a variety of musicians.

Ward is currently completing an MA in literary studies at the University of Saskatchewan with a focus on poets Leonard Cohen and Seamus Heaney.
