Beth Arnold

Beth Arnold was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Her first writing job was preparing film reviews for her highschool newspaper. She has a BA in English as well as an elementary teaching license. As a teacher, Ms. Arnold has worked as a substitute, a classroom teacher and an instructional assistant.. She has taught class under stair wells, in converted gym locker rooms and utility closets. Highlights of her teaching career include nearly getting run over during cross walk duty and teaching a sixth grade class where the best behaved kids (all three of them) didn't speak a word of English.

As writer, Ms. Arnold is especially interested in film, tv and book reviews and historical personalities. She has finished her first book on bad movies (or "junk cinema") and hopes to find a publisher soon.
