Bradley Kairis has been playing video games for nearly two decades! He graduated with a BA in English (print journalism emphasis), and a minor in Japanese in April of 2009 from North Central College. He joined Suite101 to gain experience writing for the web about video games, his most passionate hobby. He prefers video games to other methods of entertainment due to the socializing aspect of online gaming, and the ability to interact with direct input. He believes video games have a great deal of potential to grow, as storytelling, entertainment, and artform, and even as a method of educating. His favorite video game genres include first person shooters (FPS), 2D sidescrolling platformers and brawlers, strategy games, and any game with well-developed co-op elements. Favorite video games of all time Pitfall! (Atari 2600) King's Quest VI (DOS) Master of Magic (DOS) River City Ransom (NES) Final Fantasy Tactics (Playstation) Starcraft (PC) Viewtiful Joe (Gamecube) F-Zero GX (Gamecube) Halo (Xbox) Audiosurf (Indie PC) Left 4 Dead (Xbox 360, PC) Scribblenauts (Nintendo DS / DSi) Other Interests and Hobbies Bradley loves to watch Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and The Colbert Report. As a journalism major, he appreciates the media critiques and sense of humor. He also enjoys other satire programs such as South Park and The Simpsons. He's always in the pursuit of knowledge - frequently watching documentaries, specifically in history and science.
