<p>Cindy Gallagher is a freelance writer who lives in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband, Kevin, and boxers, Paige and Brooke. Her house is part tastefully decorated home/part shrine to the dogs in her life, past and present. A toy box containing a variety of chew bones, tug ropes, and other dog toys rests innocuously in a corner of the great room. Photographs and portraits abound, including a few of the human family members.</p> <p>Cindy recently left her part-time job as a court reporter to pursue writing full time. She has been published in a variety of print and online publications, primarily on the topic of -- what else? -- dogs. She is also at work on a novel set in the afterlife. Yes, lots of animals there, as well.</p> <p>When not writing or spending time with her boxers, Cindy enjoys reading, needlework, and Tetris.</p>
