Melody Rhodes (aka Athlyn Green) is a freelance writer from B.C. currently living in Nova Scotia.

Melody has an avid interest in avian behaviorism and has shared her time with four parrots: a Moluccan Cockatoo, a Double Yellow-Headed Amazon, and two Congo African Greys. She's been involved in rehabilitative work, taking in two abused and troubled parrots. Accounts of Melody's birds' hilarious antics have appeared in avian publications.
