Murray McLeod

Murray has maintained an involvement in the arts for many years and for a time he operated his own gallery at Mt., Tamborine near Queensland's Gold Coast Australia.

Vintage aircraft and naval subjects are a favourite theme and an offshoot of this are his writings on Military and Aircraft history. He has a preference to portray Australia's involvement in both writing and art but always enjoys researching international events on these subjects.

Murray has been a contributor to the magazine "Wartime" a monthly publication from the Australian War Memorial at Canberra.

Vintage motorcycling, in particular road racing and the Isle of Man is another field of interest. Having owned a variety of classic British machinery when that industry was a force to be reckoned with, he admits to a sense of nostalgia for a bygone era; one that was overwhelmed by elements from the 'Land of the Rising Sun'. To have the opportunity to put those memories into print in his motorcycle articles is compensation for an era that was filled with grand experiences.
