Anthea Gerrie - Profile

Self-portrait, Unknown

Anthea Gerrie has been covering the antics of the world's top chefs for nearly 20 years in her capacity as a feature writer for UK national newspapers and a travel&food writer for gourmet magazines and in-flight publications. She has sipped Champagne with Albert and Michel Roux and the volatile Marco-Pierre White, dived with gusto into the molecular cuisine of Juan-Maria and Elena Arzak, debated what women bring to the party with Alice Waters and the gals of the Border Grill, driven through the bayous with Paul Prudhomme and journeyed to the centre of the earth(or so it felt) to discuss arcane mountain herbs with Michel Bras. A keen cook, she also has one of the world's largest collections of celebrity cookbooks - but never fights her husband for the stove.
