I am a freelance writer and I am passionate about the written word.

In recent years,I have spent a great deal of time ghost-writing health related articles and e-books and although I enjoy the challenges of writing intricate and detailed medical projects, I decided sometime ago that it was seriously time to branch out and explore the writing world under my own name.

I set up a website dedicated to creating new exciting and inspirational writing challenges which could also prove to be a profitable venture for some writers, www.creative-competitor.co.uk , I also decided to make use of my qualifications and experiences as a teacher of creative writing and journalism and offer e-courses to those people who were just starting on their individual writing journey.

Writing my own projects has been great fun and I am a firm believer that although we should always try and progress with our writing dreams, we still need to remember that writing is supposed to be a pleasurable experience as well.

For me, writing is a little like playing God, I create living and breathing characters, envisage colourful settings, conjure up dramatic and difficult scenarios and then decide whether there should be a happy ending.
