Ann Burnett

I am a scriptwriter for BBC Children's radio and TV programmes. I also wrote Postman Pat stories for a comic for five years.

I have published articles in The Observer, My Weekly, Healthy Way, Expose and The (Glasgow) Herald.

I have published short stories in New Writing Scotland and My Weekly.

I have a Master's degree in Creative Writing from Glasgow University and self-published the novel I wrote there.

I am a member of Ayr Writers' club, one of the biggest in Scotland, and this year won 4 trophies and 7 certificates in their competitions.

I was a runner-up in the Independent/Scholastic Story of the Year competition and have won prizes and commendations at the Scottish Association of Writers' Annual Weekend conferences.

I tutor classes in Creative Writing for Glasgow University's adult education programme.
