I am a 40 year old South African who has been writing since time began - it feels like it anyway. My freelance exploits have taken me to many sportsfields and nightclubs within this beautiful country of ours, and I've filled in the additional time between writing poetry and short fiction, and a whole lot of reading.

I honestly have a passion for the written word. You can keep your television and cinema ... as long as I have a good book, a pen & a notepad I am at peace. Oh, don't forget the music playing in the background either!!

There is so much happening in Africa, and indeed, in the World at present that it has become a wonderful place for a writer. There is never a shortage of material, and as long as you have a starting point and one foot on either side of reality, you're away.

My desire to succeed in my chosen field has brought me into contact with many interesting, talented and sometime strange people. Please add to my list and contact me if you like. It's always great to meet somebody new who holds the same loves and interests.
