He has an internship lined up for summer 2009 at the Statesboro Herald and is looking to expand his career after college by joining a publication's or a website's staff as a sports media contributor. He is interested in broadening his skills into radio and internet media.
DeGraff was born in Pittsburgh, PA, but grew up in Ormond Beach, FL. He played all sports growing up. Soccer; however, is his where his fervor lies.

He hopes to advance his writing and networking skills through his use of and his contribution towards suite101.com.
