Here's a brief summary for those who want to know more about me:

Professional Background

I own a small bookkeeping, tax and consulting practice (since March 2004). I service clients from across the entire US and have several clients who live and work in many countries around the world. Each new year in this business surpasses my expectations and sets new records within my practice. I hope that I will continue to be blessed by seeing more and more new clients from all over the world while retaining all of my current clients.

I've written articles for a magazine and various media outlets. I have written for textbook publishers also (as a behind the scenes writer). I am always looking for new writting opportunities.

Currently, I am an adjunct accounting professor for Colorado Technical University Online. I am a former accounting professor (rank was instructor) from the University of Central Oklahoma and also a former construction adjunct professor from Oklahoma State University- Oklahoma City. I've also had the pleasure of conducting a continuing education seminar for a professional organization. I found that I truly enjoy teaching accounting and business-related subjects. I love the process of learning and then sharing that information with my students, my readers and my clients.

Prior to my time as an accounting professor, I was an internal auditor and expense manager in the transportation industry and investigated more than 100 fraud cases. I have also sold real estate as a licensed REALTOR, sold insurance for Farmers Insurance Group of Companies, worked in the retail, the automotive repair, the restaurant, and both the residential and commercial construction industries. I also served in the US Navy, the US Naval Reserves, and the Oklahoma Army National Guard.
