Hi,

I'm Amy Giaquinto and I'm a screenwriter, Personal Fitness Trainer and nonfiction health and fitness writer living in sunny Southern California. I love all outdoor activities including mountain biking, road bicycling, backpacking, camping, fishing, etc. and have completed 2 sprint-distance triathlons and a handful of 5K runs.

My outrageous comic screenplay, Fortune Cookies, has made the semifinals of three screenwriting competitions this year, Blazing Quill, Find the Funny and WriteMovies.com. It's the story about two estranged elderly brothers who break out of their nursing home to race each other to find a buried family treasure. At the moment, I'm working on another screenplay, a thrilling sports drama set the world of Supercross.

Here are my credentials:

A.C.E. and YMCA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer with over nine years in the industry. I taught and helped to implement and improve the Health Intevention Program (H.I.P.) Kids program at the Brandywine YMCA, a program designed to help at-risk kids ages six to sixteen establish healthy lifestyles through exercise and nutritional and behavioral counceling.

Sundance Film Institute Interned as a Script Reader for their Writer's and Director's Lab Programs.

Certificate in Feature Film Writing from UCLA Extension

Won an Editor's Choice Award for an article I wrote here titled, Tips for Commuting by Bicycle.
